Its Christmas.

You all gotta watch this. Wow. Mummy wont let me help decorate the tree just incase I break something and hurt myself but these dogs are brilliant.

Walkies

Mummy took me for a walk over the Heath, so I had a good sniff around and found evidence of bunnies. I didn't manage to find any actual bunnies, but I know they are there. I found their poop and left a deposit of mine so now they know to "watch out Fizzy's about". He he!!

The only problem was that mummy picked it up and made me wait whilst she put it in the bin. I was very good and didn't move so I got a treat when she came back. I like treats. Mummy has bought me a very special one for Yuletide. It is called an Advent Calender and has treats in it behind windows that you open each day during December.

Its not a very good photo but you can see that it is very special, it's only for Berners. I asked mummy if we could send one to Jesse in America but she didn't know his address but I'm sure he'd love it. I will think of you Jesse whilst I'm munching on the treats inside.

Paintings

Not been up to much lately. Been out on walkies every day, meeting new friends and Coco who everyone seems to think I am just because we are both Berners.
Mummy found a program on the net that changes photos into paintings, she's gone mad with it and thought every picture she has had to be changed, along with all the pictures from every other site there is. So I thought i'd share this one with you. I think it's Spotty along with some very yummy looking mushrooms.

Halloween

Well it was Halloween again the other night. Thank goodness mummy didn't make me wear any silly costume. I helped carve the pumpkins and put them out, then tried to eat all the sweets but mummy wouldn't let me as she said it would make me sick.

There were lots of monsters and witches that kept ringing the doorbell and I barked at them all to tell them to go away but mummy kept opening the door and giving them the sweets. I got a lot of strokes so the monsters can't be all that bad.

Looking forward to next year, maybe someone might bring me some sweets instead.

Though I'd say hi to my friend across the pond, Jessej. I've been following your antics for a while and not only are you very handsome but your very funny too. I don't know what bunnies are as there aren't any around here but there are lots of scary foxes.
I'm glad you are following mine and my birth family's site, and I look forward to reading more about you chasing these bunnies.

Gone in 30 seconds

Well mummy's decided to put me on the BARF diet. She defrosted a rabbit dinner, blended a load of vegetables we picked from the garden, put the bowl down for me and then went and got the camera to take a picture of me eating very nice looking dinner. Trouble is when she got back I had already eaten it all and the bowl was empty. Boy was it yummy!!! I look forward to my dinner now. I love carrots, beens, cauliflower, broccolli and everything else that went into it and best of all I enjoyed picking the veg.

New car

New car, new car, new car. Fun, fun, fun. Yeah!!! Mummy wouldn't let me sit in the back seats but I've got this massive boot with my own window that opens. It also has air con so I won't get so hot on long drives. It doesn't chuck me around when we hit potholes either, it bounces over them. Fun, fun, fun. I want to go for a drive now.

Spotty, I found you a stick.

As the weather held out today mummy took me for a walk down the lakes. I went into my usual spot and found this massive stick for you Spotty, unfortunately I wasn't quite sure how to pick it up, so I left it there. I did try to get mummy to help but she just gave me this look that said "do you think I'm stupid". I get that look a lot. She's not as stupid as she is funny looking.

I'm still having trouble trying to upload video, it uploads straight from the camera but won't upload the edited version even though it's the same type of file. Oh well can't expect everything to work properly, I don't. In fact I do as little work as I can get away with.

More bored

We had a nice day yesterday, managed to get into the garden and help mummy with digging and laying mulch (whatever that is...nice for chewing tho) but today it's raining again. Mummy said it's the tail end of the hurricane the Americans had. Well they can keep it. I don't really like rain but I LOVE snow. They can send that all my way. Mummy said it will carry on until Wednesday. BORING!!! Will just have to get wet, maybe I can get mummy to take me down the lakes for more swimming lessons, I need them, the last time I went in I sank and mummy had to jump in and drag me out. It was fun though.

Bored

Well I got totally bored today so decided to help mummy with the washing. I got a sock, mummy's PJ's and a robe. Slobbered all over them to make them even dirtier, ho ho! I even got to lay on mummy's bed. It's more comfy than mine, think I might sleep up here in future, mum can have my bed.

 Want to go for a walk now but it's raining out and I had a bath on Friday. If I get dirty mummy will make me have another bath and I don't really like it.

I have changed my background on my blog as Autumn is comming which means Winter will be next and I LOVE snow, can't wait. Hope it snows and snows and doesn't stop.

Santa is dead

I'm sorry everyone but xmas will have to be cancelled this year. Santa is dead. I have eaten him. First I ripped his head away from his neck and de-stuffed him, then I ripped his arm off and chewed his bum. I don't think he will visit me this year.

On a better note mum bought a new rug for the front room coz I keep making the cream carpet dirty (what idiot buys a cream carpet and a Berner I ask you). It's so soft and lovely, much better than my bed. Mum says if I chew this up like I did my bed I'll have to go live in the shed. Yeh right!!!

Fuss Me........

Well everybody knows how we Berners love a fuss, as you can see I will take them no matter what. Here my daddy is giving my belly a rub with his foot. Luckily they don't smell.

Too hot

It was far too hot today, even in the shade. Mummy went out and came back with this blue rubber thing and filled it with water. She said it would be like going in the lake or river, but it isn't. She made me get in but I got straight back out. I then tried to push mummy in to see if she liked it, but she didn't either.

Wipe my paws?

Well mum has found this doormat at http://www.doormats-uk.com so it means I now have to wipe my paws when I get back from a walk. Great......not. Wouldn't mind if he was as good looking as me, but he's definately not.

The Show

Luckily the Southern Bernese Mountain Dog Club website now has the pictures of the winners at the show last week so I have downloaded their photo as the one human daddy took was all blurry. It was a championship show and I won best Graduate Bitch. I got a lovely big red rosette and a bag of dog food, which is very yummy. Human mummy is very happy, and I know my real daddy and mummy are very proud of me.

Scary plant pot

Well I thought I'd just share this video of me with you. It was taken last year in the garden. I was minding my own bussiness when this big black plant pot got in my way, so I barked at it and told it to 'go away', but it didn't. So I tried a bit harder, next thing I know it's gone mad and started attacking me. Well you can imagine what I did....ran away and hid. Very brave of me eh!

A red one

After all that pimping I got a red rosette at the show today. That's a first place just incase you don't know your colours, like me. I didn't need a judge to tell me I'm the best, I already know. All I need to do now is teach daddy how to take a proper photo. He's useless as you can tell.

Getting scrubbed up

Just had a bath, getting ready for a show tomorrow. I look all shaggy when I am wet.

All blown dry now. Fluffy and white, trimmed and styled.
